About H2O Sportswear

H2O Sportswear was established back in 1982 by Jens Knud Lind. The basic idea was to develop sportswear in a unique cotton quality, which at the same time had an extremely high degree of functionality and durability. Based on classic Scandinavian design, H2O Sportswear developed its very own colorful and distinctive design with stripes, a unique fit and innovative designs. The collection developed through the 1980s and 1990s to include swimwear, rainwear and the popular flip flops.

COLLECTION

Our collections are built around several areas with a focus on woman lifestyle, mens lifestyle, swim & beach wear, bags and footwear. All products and collections are based on our basic philosophy of producing everything in exceptional quality with high functionality and perfect fit.

We therefore constantly invest in ensuring that at all times/collections we put together teams consisting of the most successful and talented creative managers, designers, constructors and specialists it is possible to engage. Based on H2O Sportswear's DNA and historical experience, this team ensures that we continue to develop our collections to hit a crossroads between sport and fashion, and to be accepted in the sports arena as well as in the cityscape.

Our design is based on the Scandinavian look with clean lines, colorful details and is aimed at the active consumer who wants clothing that looks good both on a nice day at the lake, a sunny day on the beach as well as a cozy meeting day in the hall.

At the same time, we see it as an exciting challenge to the expected, to take some of our iconic H2O products and ask some of the best Danish or foreign fashion designers of the time to redefine these to create completely new, exciting and unique products. This focus started with our collaboration with the Danish designer Stine Goya, who made the very successful re-design of our beach sandals and has since been followed up by many other collabs with major recognized designers such as Henrik Vibskov, Anne-Sofie Madsen, Mark Kenly Domino Tan, Freya Dalsjø and most recently Han Kjøbenhavn and Oh! city of Copenhagen Fur.

Mission

H2O's task is to create better clothing and footwear by using the durability, practical materials and high degree of comfort of sports and leisure clothing/shoes in combination with fashion designers' sense of fit, trends and colours.

For H2O, creativity means that we combine familiar things in new ways – and therefore we can constantly create original solutions by taking the best of both worlds and using it in a positive development spiral that makes the clothes better and adds added value for the consumer.
