H2O x MARK TAN
H2O X MARK TAN
In 2016, we made a collaboration with the Danish designer and fashion creator, Mark Kenly Domino Tan and Club 10-ambassador, Alexa Bruun Rasmussen in favor of Red Cross. Mark Tan made a redesign of our iconic H2O sock. The sock was made in both long and short, in a fine, thin wool with the classic stripes on the leg. The profit from the socks went untouched to the Red Cross.
Mark Kenly Domino Tan is the son of a Danish mother and a Chinese father. They met each other in 1977 when the father was a sailor and was in Denmark. Mark Tan has grown up on the family's gas station in Ry - not directly a creative mecca for an aspirate designer. But Marks interest for sewing was still shown at an early age. When he was 12 years old, he designed a dress for at the time, Princess Alexandra. Mark Tan has won several titles through the years. He has among other things won H&Ms national design award for new talents in 2012 and Danish Design Talent - Magasin Award in 2014.
